Brides Magazine required an online solution for the annual Dream Dress competition.
After consulting with the client, we developed OperationDreamDress.com to showcase the contestant entries, provided a voting environment as well as integrated social networking services.
Synopsis: Contestants were invited to submit a sketch of a wedding dress that illustrated this year’s “artful romance” theme. After careful thought and deliberation, Brides editors narrowed the field from hundreds of electronic entries to the top 24 entrants. The selected photos were then posted online on custom designer landing pages, and opened to Brides Magazine readers coast-to-coast for voting. The winning dress was featured on the July 2011 cover of BRIDES magazine.
It was a pleasure to work with the team at Brides on this very exciting and creative online contest. UmbraSolutions™ designed and maintained the contest for Brides Magazine from 2009 - 2011.

An online tool for all a brides wedding planning needs
This online wedding planner works independently and with the popular Brides Wedding Genius iPhone app. This web-solution has a custom CMS with admin and user account management, calendar, inspiration boards as well as other planning tools so you can manage your budget, guest list, and vendor information. The web-solution communicates with the iPhone through an API we developed. The iPhone app was originally created by NearbyNow, and is now maintained and advanced by Fuzz Productions.

The Coca-Cola NYC Ambassadors 2002-2003 program by BuzzTone proved a great success for Coca-Cola by successfully engaging the core teen consumer and extending awareness and credible associations for the Coke brand throughout the year. From parades to picnics to block parties to school functions, the Ambassadors made an impact across New York City throughout 2003.

When the executive producer of Dexter, Robert Lewis, came to us asking about a word game app, we were surprised. However surprised we were, it was nothing compared to the fun and professional way in which this entire project was handled by Mr. Lewis. He and his partner, Norman Epstein, came up with a great word game that is like scrabble—but not. Check it out on iTunes Today!
